The set of blank files and folder structure needed to start a new web design project.
Completing the set up
We now add a set of blank files to our structure to complete the set up for our "bare-bones" framework.
Just create the blank files as empty placeholders using your favourite text editor and save them with the appropriate extension into the locations indicated.
We also add a temporary folder called tests...
Tests is a temporary folder in which we will place test files as we develop the css setup to check on what things look like and how the framework is progressing.
At the end of the framework development, the tests folder and its content files is removed from Barebones and/or can be used as a source for documentation and reference for the framework.
And now, for our first actual bit of content...

The favicon.ico file
A favicon (short for Favorite icon), also known as a shortcut icon, Web site icon, tab icon or bookmark icon, is a file containing one or more small icons, most commonly 16×16 pixels, associated with a particular Web site or Web page.
There are quite a number of favicon creators on the internet. One such is iconifier.net
Here we have uploaded our ammonite png file and downloaded the generated zip file containing our fav-icons. After unzipping, we copy the favicon.ico file and place it in the root directory.
